On a private sales conference – with shopping clubs from 12 different countries. Very exiciting. They are on different experience and development stages but share all the same problems: Sourcing, returns, logistics, traffic. India has more Facebook fans than they have members. Russia is growing like crazy. Switzerland has the best conversion rates I have ever seen in the ecommerce. I am really impressed.
I will return in a few days to Istanbul but I know that I am loading many impressions and inspirations into my head. At least a bunch of ideas which we will execute very quickly.
Private Shopping is a new eCommerce format beside classifieds, marketplace and eTailers. It will change the eCommerce landscape in the next decade.
